Shorefit Clothing Alterations are a professional family run clothing alterations company located in Albany on the North Shore of Auckland. Our services range from our popular ‘while you wait’ trouser and jean hemming service to beautiful gowns of all fabrics , and our specialty men’s tailoring of suits.

Here at Shorefit Clothing we love helping you fix and mend your favourite clothing items so that you can get more wear out of your treasured pieces! There are so many ways you can alter and mend clothing, such as:
- adding patches onto worn out knee areas
- patching jean crutches
- replacing/mending broken zips
- resizing and reshaping old dresses
- and much more! Bring in your favourite old clothes and we can share some ideas with you.
Please note that alterations are charged on a per hour basis and some jobs may take longer than intended, for example replacing zips can take more time then most people expect. However, we always endeavor to give you a close estimate of cost. Please call us for a free consultation and an estimate.
Bridal
Wedding gown alterations are our passion and our specialty! Here atShorefit Clothing , We love the whole process , and especially the smiles at the end . We have altered wedding dresses of all kinds and conditions and havent let any bride down yet. We have altered hundreds of bridal gowns, bridesmaids dresses and ballgowns for many of our lovely clients. We are also passionate about turning old dresses into new and exciting pieces, and have helped a number of clients turn ex wedding gowns into stunning cocktail dresses.
